The other day I took a stroll through the toy department of our local Wal-Mart. Did you know that they now have Star Wars Transformers? They have a Tie Fighter that transforms in Darth Vader! An X-Wing Fighter that transforms into a Luke Skywalker-esque robot. Their “canons” pull out and become lightsabers! And the ultimate, Han Solo and Chewbacca robots that link together to form the Millennium Falcon!!!
Two great toy memories rolled into one! Now if they can only sneak GI Joe or Thundercats into the mix and they’d have a trifecta!!!
I think my next child is going to have to be a boy so I can buy these “for him” and “assist” him with playing with them!!
I know what you mean, all the cool toys are out now. They have STAR WARS LEGOS! How many times did I cobble together an x-wing fighter? now they make ‘em in kits!
